Site has many plus points. To improve, I suggest staff need training to be more welcoming. Reception was purely an administration function rather than an opportunity to greet guests. I felt unwelcome in restaurant due to my poor French. No intention to revisit.

I’ve stayed in many campsites in my life and this is definitely one of the best! Friendly staff, great site layout, great pool, bar/restaurant area, decent prices, well-stocked shop, live bands in the evening, 3 table tennis tables, tennis court, communal BBQs and RIGHT on the river with a lovely private beach and just a 10 minute paddle or 19 minute walk to the Pont du Gard. Perfect site!

tha camping is always very beautiful! a little suggestion: try to occupy the shady places before the sunniest ones! at least for the long staying! but for everything... it was a beautiful experience, we will come back!!

Lovely shady pitches, excellent access to the river, pool ok but a bit dated, facilities clean. Only downside was the evening entertainment goes on to 11:30 meaning if you want to sleep there are lots of people coming back to their accommodation. We were unlucky that the pitch near us carried on the party to 1:30am then at 3:30am had a fight. I understand there is night security patrolling but I don’t feel it was effective as their noise was prolonged.

Great camping and accomodation (R01) only the beds are in need of urgent replacement. We were scared of rolling on our side because the bed would just collapse. The planks would just break or fall out of the frame. All beds need to be replaced they have had their best time.

A great place to base my stay around South France.

The perfect site to visit the Pont du Gard. We cycled there and also enjoyed the kayaking. Helpful friendly team.

Such a lovely friendly camping. Our emplacement was in the shade all day. The staff were friendly and professional. The sanitaires were clean. Great position for access to the river and the Pont du Gard. Little bonus the private beach! We loved it so much we stayed 2 days more than planned! Merci ❤️

There was NO WiFi, even though they said there was. They blamed it on iOS or Android (depending on which you had) being the problem. I spent a fortune on roaming data. The cell service is very weak, too.

It is an amazing place! The place is so huge, enough space for our caravan, internet signal also good. I swam every day in the clear river and Pont du Gard is very impressive and you see alot also without payment. The area is very clean. I had a really good time, also in the Kajak

Nice size pitch, but could have been better marked out. When it dark take a touch with you all the trees look the same in the dark! You may need a longer electric lead on some pitches.

Too many rocks / stones on the emplacements, these damage tents.

The trip to Avignon was one of our holiday highlights. We were there for the third time and will join La Sousta next season as well.

Calm and chilled out site, perfectly situated for the Pont du Gard. Great evening entertainment from a live band. Shaded pitches and lots of sanitary blocks. Unfortunately the shop seemed quite under stocked, but I would definitely return.

First time in this local, site really met our expectations with plentiful and maintained facilities. Good access to river and pont du Gard. Would recommend this site for couples and families. Staff friendly, helpful and approachable.

Lovely place in quiet surroundings near the river.

My husband and I stayed here and were able to see two stages of the Tour de France with ease. It was great to see these two stages in such historic surroundings.

We use this site regularly during trips from France to Spain. Always easy to process through check-in. Pretty clean even in low season. Pitches aren't always that well marked though. Very peaceful location and of course close to the Pont du Gard. Unfortunately the authorities have decided to make it difficult for pedestrians to access the Pont du Gard, trying to intimidate them into paying, WHICH IS NOT REQUIRED just to access the site of the Pont or to walk across it. As this campsite is so close to the Pont, and I suspect gains a large part of its clientele for that reason, I hope they will make this point with local tourist authority.

We had a very enjoyable stay. Friendly staff and a well cared for site. Good shading from the trees. Only negative is that the water collection taps are sparsely located around the site and the push button only gives about 500 ml at a time. Would recommend this site.

La Sousta is a beautiful campsite. What I liked most was the nature: lots of trees and therefore lots of shadow. The most disappointing thing was the bad cleaning in the sanitary blocs. That was really grose. The cleaning ladies wiped a bit, but there was strong urine smell in the showers, dirt in the corners, dirt on the walls, etc. All the people I spoke complained about that. In other campings in France we were used that in high season the blocs were cleaned about 6 times a day, with good cleaning equipment. Another dissapointing thing was the desinterest of the workers at the reception and restaurant. We got 3 times other food than we ordered (we just ate it without complains) and when my husband asked for an adress of a hospital / first aid, no one seemed to care what was the matter. And no one of the staff informed what had happened when I came by in the restaurant and reception with a broken leg in plaster in a wheelchair. I was very happy that there was a shower for disabled people! However, we are planning for another stay at La Sousta next year, for I never got the chance to see the river and the Pont du Gard because of my accident on the camping at our first day. See you next year I hope.

Good place to stay, Nice restaurant and pizza’s. Great river to swim. Nice pitch with a lot of shade. TIP: make a seperat place for the people who stay only night. They woke us up every morning. It makes the camping noisy and busy in the morning

Very nice camping with everything you need! All things for kids and sports, tennis, football ect. We loved the river and the little close beach.

In summary a very comfortable and enjoyable stay during the day we spent. Friendly employees and a nice atmosphere around the whole camping ground. Would definetly recommend this one.

In the high season the pool is closed during the hottest period of the day. Many people especially with small children see this as a major disadvantage of the Camping which on other aspects scores good. The improvement of the pool for the smaller children is apprciated but the pool is given the prices of the mobil homes in the high season stil below average and outdated. Best regards, Jacques

Huge camping places, good pizza in the restaurant. Even though the camping can have many guests the wide space makes you forget about all other guests. The river is nice and cooling in warm weather and great for fishing.

Strange that the pool closes in the middle of the day during high season but is open all day in low season. Overall great campsite- thanks.

Only in French? It is not easy To answer all. The toiletts /sanitariee should be renovated in future.it is clean but old.

Much upgraded to high quality Mobile homes but still maintaining the classic campsite vibe. Simple days in relaxed atmosphere a bit of evening entertainment if you wanted it - kids can roam freely and safely and enjoy the pool or river. This is the absolute opposite of an all inclusive binge -and much better because of it. Pool area may be small but is always got a lifeguard and food & drink are not allowed, no problems with all day drinkers. It still closes for a siesta at lunchtime, giving a relaxed structure to the day. Bar and restaurant are simple but offer all that you need, and collecting croissants & bread from the shop becomes a morning ritual. Kids love it and it proves you don't need to have wifi or theme parks to have. good time!

The toilets and shower realy needs repleacement! For now, it is no value for money. Our pitch was exelent!

Very nice camping site. Was very crowded but nevertheless very nice.

La Sousta is heaven for campers who don't like regimented sites and the river Gardon is wonderful to swim in.

About the campsite, I don't have very much feedback points! I liked my staying, thanks for the good service. I have one advice for you and that is to translate this questionnaire into english so you can get input from people of other countries!

Good welcome, good placement, close to Highway. Will use the place again.

We have had a lovely stay. Thank you. The only comment we have is, that opposite us was a caravan with three dogs, that barked all the time. The dogs were not kept on leads and they even left dog-dirt lying without picking it up. We will definetly recommend the campsite to others.

We stayed near the blue sanitary buildning, it was very dirty all our stay, the red sanitary building was a bit better

We were camping there 30 years ago, at that time it was a real "french" enviroment. But still, overall satisfied, lovely / clean landscape, nice employees, nice big camps with the opportunity of shade.

Evrything was nice and clean and the setting in the park is very peaceful with all of the trees.

Clean, friendly, hot showers. Brilliant! Beautiful peaceful spot next to river. Highly recommend!

Wé stayed for 2 nights on this very nice site, thé pitch had river view and was in the shade of pine trees. Good facilities , thoroughly recommended
